The CT Vegan Center at the CT Folk Festival
The CT Vegan Center had a table at the CT Folk Festival yesterday in New Haven. We met a lot of interesting people who were curious about us. Our “Spin The Wheel” is always a big hit where we ask people to answer a question on either Land, Wildlife, Climate Change or Water, promising them a prize no matter whether they’re right of wrong! It is a fun way to add some humor while educating people on the benefits of being vegan.
It’s also a big draw for the younger kids whose only interest is spinning the wheel, but then get their parents to guess at the answers. All in all, a very good day spent with Liz Russel, Chris Erin and Pat Harmon manning the booth.
Spin the wheel, answer a question on either wildlife, water, climate change or land, and win a prize every time! A fun way to get people involved and educate at the same time!
