Professionally she has worked as a master barber for 17+ years. During that time, she donated hair to provide oil spill mats to save the the waterways. In 2013, she briefly had a candle company, Hipponotic Candle, donating a portion of all proceeds to anti-poaching projects for at risk wild Hippo’s in Zimbabwe. She started her massage career working at a facility providing massage services to clients living with HIV. A self-proclaimed psychonaut, she likes to experience new holistic approaches towards healing. Today she works as a LMT at a float tank wellness center.
Tabitha enjoys her life by the water living in Stony Creek region in Branford, CT with husband Bret.
An avid gardener & mushroom farmer, often found in her backyard polytunnel or harvesting shiitake mushrooms.

Allison Pilcher
Allison has been vegan since 2018 and is passionate about animal justice. While newer to the animal rights scene, she is a longtime advocate of social and environmental justice.
As a professional climate policy advocate, she brings deep knowledge on the environmental impact of animal agriculture and extensive experience with issue advocacy, strategic campaigns, and nonprofit administration. Allison lives in Coventry, CT with her husband Drew and rescue pup Kiva.
In her free time she enjoys exploring new trails, practicing yoga, gardening, volunteering, and working on DIY home renovations.

Tiffany Walker Roper
Tiffany is a lifelong animal lover and went vegan in 2012. A passionate advocate for all beings, she has been involved with animal and human rights advocacy for many years. Tiffany is a recognized voice for animals, speaking at conferences and providing advisory support to various organizations around activist burnout, social justice, and diversity in the mainstream animal rights movement. As an activist, Tiffany has been a leader, writer, and rescuer, living by compassionate values and caring about her community and its people.
These days, Tiffany is probably best known for her rescue and advocacy work with Palomacy, a San Francisco-based vegan organization focused on domesticated pigeons and doves.
After an 8-year stint in Oakland, CA, Tiffany recently returned to East Hartford, CT with a houseplant collection and her two rescued pigeons, Pumpkin & Earl.

Chris Kerin
Chris is a long-time vegan and animal advocate. He serves as an animal rescue volunteer, and helped bring the Be Fair Be Vegan billboards to CT. He’s a generous donor to national and international animal causes.
Professionally, Chris has over thirty years of real estate experience advising leading state, national and international clients. He’s consulted on more than $100 billion in real estate and has served as a course instructor for Yale University, UCONN and the CT Bar Association. He’s testified as a real estate expert witness in more than 100 court cases.
Chris lives in Fairfield with his wife, Andrea, and two rescue pups, Ester and Rosie. In his free time, he enjoys Zen meditation, hiking in nature, and practicing Aikido, earning the rank of Yondan (4th degree black belt) from the US Aikido Federation.

Kendra has loved animals for as long as she can remember. She was vegetarian off and on through her early life and finally became vegan in 2009. She has been told that she has an uncanny ability to spot the smallest of creatures attempting to wander into the road and has brought numerous wildlife to local rehabilitators.
Kendra loves to volunteer at farm animal sanctuaries, help rescues with local transport, assist in TNR, and provide resources and assistance to those seeking help for their animal companions or local wildlife. She enjoys reading and thrifting, and filling her home with animal related decor and books. She is passionate about helping those in need and has worked for several nonprofit organizations.
She spent 16 years working in affordable housing and currently works in animal conservation, focusing on anti-poaching initiatives, the reduction of
wildlife cybercrime, the preservation of endangered species, and much more.
