DESCRIPTION:We will meet at the Quaker meetinghouse in West Hartford to discuss “*Seeds of Hope: Wisdom and Wonder from the World of Plants*” by vegan author Jane Goodall\, and a selection from this year’s project book\, *Eat Plants\, B*tch: 91 Vegan Recipes That Will Blow Your Meat-Loving Mind* by Pinky Cole. \n☕️ Doors open at 2:45 for socializing and refreshments. 🧁 \nYou are welcome to bring a vegan snack (optional).\nCoffee and tea will be provided. \n**About the book:**\n*SEEDS OF HOPE takes us from Goodall’s home in England to her home-away-from-home in Africa\, deep inside the Gombe forest\, where she and the chimpanzees are enchanted by the fig and plum trees they encounter.*\n*She introduces us to botanists around the world\, as well as places where hope for plants can be found\, such as The Millennium Seed Bank.
