Vegansociety.com explains its philosophy: “a way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of\, and cruelty to\, animals for food\, clothing or any other purpose. A vegan diet excludes all animal products.” \nIt has been reported that vegan and vegetarian diets have the potential to prevent most modern lifestyle diseases\, which is why an increasing number of doctors and health institutions promote plant-based nutrition. So\, this month\, let’s learn how to cook flavorful\, healthful vegan meals! \nA selection of vegan cookbooks will be available to those who are registered. They will be ready for checkout at the beginning of the month of January. During the month cook to your heart’s content and choose the themed recipe/dish you would like to bring to the Cooks & Books potluck dinner on January 30. We will learn from each other. Join us!
